Our Mission

The Board of Trustees and Staff of the Braithwaite Estates Improvement District are committed to providing safe, high-quality drinking water that meets or exceeds Canadian drinking water standards while taking a proactive approach in groundwater protection, infrastructure renewal, and asset management.

Who are we?

Braithwaite Estates Improvement District (BEID) is a waterworks provider incorporated by Letters Patent issued on February 5, 1976.

Located on beautiful Vancouver Island, BEID provides potable water to approximately 259 active connections in Cobble Hill, British Columbia.  Service will be required for an additional 11 undeveloped lots currently located within the BEID boundaries, plus any future approved boundary expansion petitions.
